If you have any questions about, or find any problems with, Universal Extractor, please post your comments to the UniExtract subforum on the MSFN message board. Skip to: Download/Screenshots | Installation and Usage | Technical Details | Supported Formats | Credits Introduction I've not used it myself, but if you're having trouble with the official version or not able to get it to extract newer formats and executables, I'd recommend giving Bioruebe's version a try. I'm not affiliated with the project in any way, but it seems to be a nice continuation of the project in the original open source spirit as my own creation. That said, I recently discovered a project calling itself Universal Extractor 2. There have been a lot of unofficial forks and continuations released, and while I appreciate the effort and enthusiasm, most of those have been closed source updates that I wouldn't recommend. It's not exactly abandoned, but since I no longer run Windows it's not something I have much of a need for these days. We offer the opportunity for business customers to test NXPowerLite Desktop for up to 50 users for 30 days.Note: Development on the 'official' version of Universal Extractor has stopped. MSI files allow for easy installation on multiple desktops, without the need for user interaction. NXPowerLite Desktop can be downloaded as a Windows Installer. To open compressed files, you don't need NXPowerLite. Compressed files are saved in the same format and with the same extension. Automatically compress email attachments when they are sent from Outlook and Lotus Notes. This is a great way to compress small folders of content quickly. You can compress up to 10,000 files at once. You can save files in their original formats or you can combine them into one Zip file. Use the right-click menu options to compress files directly from Windows Explorer. For a huge productivity boost, create custom settings profiles and select them quickly from the home screen. NXPowerLite Desktop can reduce the size of your PDFs, PowerPoints, Word, Excels, Word, Excels, JPEGs, PNGs, and TIFF files quickly.

How to unarchive exe files on mac

(Now I can continue on fixing some of its other problems). I'm sure you can provide a more precise and technical answer as to the process, but the device is working again - so I'm happy. Success!!! This apparently dumped the information that was preventing a restart and alowed it to start from the beginning. A faulty display: If there is something wrong with the display, it could cause it to stop showing the picture. When you have your video ready to share, use the Share menu to save the video or send it to the web. I then went back through the setup again, reset the date and time, fixed a 'seeking floppy drive' error and restarted. Hardware errors: If the hardware components or peripherals such as keyboards, mice, and cables are worn out, they could cause the screen not to display. Now perform whatever screen actions you want to capture. One way to solve the problem was apparently to use a PS/2 keyboard to get into the boot menu but I have a USB keyboard and no access to a PS/2 board, so I still had no way to change anything.īut finally resolved it by opening the case and unplugging the CMOS battery for a few seconds. Click the Start Recording button or use the Win + Alt + R keyboard shortcut to capture your screen activity. But I'm not going to use Standby for extended periods of time to minimise the chance of a recurrence. Thanks for your suggestions.Īs you ponted out, the Loader screen may have been caused by a power fasilure but I'm unaware of a recent one so am still not sure of the initiating even.
